Cobrama
Spike Trainer

The
Equipment

The Cobrama Spike Trainer was developed to facilitate the learning of serve and attack movements, as well as significantly improve beginners and high-level athletes’ performance in volleyball training. The ball is positioned at the user’s controlled height, which can track the progression of the user’s development using the equipment's ruler.

A rapid replacement of the ball after each blow intensifies the training frequency and ensures uniformity in the repetitions of the exercises.

The Cobrama Spike Trainer adds value to your institution's training structure, demonstrating a commitment to the investment in the excellence of the athletes.

Easy
Learning

The execution of an attack in volleyball requires a complex series of movements (passing, pendular movements of the arms, correct positioning of the feet, hips and shoulders, an adequate distance of the ball, height of the blow on the ball, etc.), whose learning requires dedication and drills. With the ball moving or in random positions during an exercise sequence, the athlete's focus is moved to the timing of the ball, forgetting to execute correctly the movements necessary for the appropriate attack and, consequently, delaying the process of automation of the movements.

Progressive development
of the fundamentals

By providing control of the position of the ball with the Cobrama Spike Trainer, the coach can accurately adjust the athlete's movements, as well as propose a progressive height routine, until the individual has correctly assimilated proper movement and can move to situations with the ball in motion.

Likewise, the initial learning of serve is facilitated by effective control of the stroke’s height and proper positioning of the server in relation to the ball.

The Cobrama Spike Trainer’s quick ball replacement intensifies the training with quality, allowing results to be achieved in reduced time.

Versatility

Combined Movements

In addition to learning and training an attack and a serve, the Cobrama Spike Trainer allows for the elaboration of more complex activities, benefiting from the static positioning of the ball in suspension for the best development of the training.

Blocking, defense, blocking simulation drills followed by rapid fallback for an attack, reception or defense with an opening for an attack are some examples that can be executed with the equipment. These combined movements contribute to a significant improvement in the speed and coordination of movements in different game situations.

Use with Accessories

The combination of the Cobrama Spike Trainer with fitness accessories allows for technical development together with the athlete's body development.

Linking physical effort with attack and defense routines similar to game situations has been shown to be a motivational factor for training. However, the difficulty of performing identical movements (by inaccuracy in lifting the ball) makes it difficult to perform this type of exercise without the use of equipment such as the Cobrama Spike Trainer.

Experience agility ladders, cones, plyometric barriers, traction belts, and other equipment for joint use with the Cobrama Spike Trainer in drills and check the increased physical performance of your athletes!

Easy to Operate

Safe and simplified handling

The Cobrama Spike Trainer was designed having the Physical Educator in mind, who is usually alone in the management of training equipment.

The operational assembly of the equipment can be performed by only one person in a simplified way, according to the example presented in the video below.

The safety mechanisms have been implemented to allow for an adult familiar with the operating instructions to operate the Cobrama Spike Trainer without relying on third-party assistance.

The equipment can be quickly disassembled in a compact way, making it easy to be stored in small spaces.
